I did explain the house came back on the market Thurs and others were putting offers in so we had to move on it quickly. This happened quite quick tbh all in the space of 24 hours. So no matter what you think you know about it these are the facts.

Yeah the liquid is like a mini computer, tells you loads of stuff thats going on with the car. I havnt got one but done quite alot of research on them. A friend has the phone app and it works well for boost an bhp from what ive been told.

No good for a rover though i guess.

You can get an app to measure boost on vag cars. You just need a bluetooth adapter that plugs in where the diagnostic cable goes. It works the same as a liquid gauge does. The boost is pretty acurate tbh but the other stuff you get on the app is useless.

Im on my second maf now tbh the original was shot when i got the car the the new one started giving up shortly after the remap, lol. Cheers for the offer but i can get the maf taken out for about £70 i think form the original mapper and tbh this is going to be the best way to go i reckon saves any m...

Try giving your maf a proper good clean with brake/clutch cleaner mate.. By the way, you both say the turbo tails off at high revs.. Doesnt with a SDi's and a mafless remap, mine pulls hard from 1800 to 4200 rpm ;) I have cleaned it mate and it made it hold boost all the way up through the revs but...

Yeah i know the turbos aint brilliant up top but my boosy was dropping loads at abot 3500 before cleaning the maf. If i unplug the maf the pick low down is 10 times better. Where did you get yours from?

How much is this one worth as could be interested?

Mafam is an analogue amplifier if your maf sensor is poor you can adjust it to improve the strength of the signal like its running a new maf sensor I'm running one on my zr van and its spot on never had a problem with it and sure I paid £30 delivered for mine hope this helps Haley?
