Thing is Humans are omniverous and can eat anything. We have the digestive sytem to break down meat and we have the teeth to eat meat. If we kill animals for food so be it. Have you seen how a bear grabs a salmon from a stream and starts to tuck into it whilst it's alive? It doesn't care to kill it ...

Rover 25 gti engine rebuild
Ok quick question guys, I've seen a nice quality 25 Gti, everything looks nice but I think it's got HGF. Also noisy engine, sounds like tappets, maybe piston slap. The car's £4k with 67k on the clock. Now I was thinking of getting a bit extra on the loan and getting the engine sorted out. Any ideas...

Thing is if anyone actually spoke to the "minorities" they couldn't give a to55 about Santa's grotto. It's going to be down to some d1ckcheese in his council office thinking it might offend some poor people, oh bunnykins you poor souls. F off. No one is offended. So get a life you sad government job...

I see my topic was locked
Well I've been away for a couple of days and missed all the fireworks about the legal advice thread. Well I can see why it was locked. The only thing I'd like to say is..... It wasn't possible for me to get out of it by saying there was no car reg on the slip. I took the slip and signed it so it's n...

m Section 108. Cheers Mark, It's all done now, I went to the police station today and handed over my license for the points. The only thing I hate is the way that the police talk down to you. Well they did to me anyway, make you feel like you were back at school and getting a telling off! I won't be...

I have to say that you're very mature and responsible for your deicsion DanB. At the end of the day, you did do wrong and you don't need me to tell you that double whites are there for a reason. If it makes you feel better, it shouldn't affect your insurance at all by having 3 points - just make su...

I did feel bitter initially and thought why didn't they pull over the learner as I wouldn't have done it in the first place.. BUT... that's no excuse as I didn't have to overtake where I did and it is massively frustrating to be stuck behind a learner but I can't really complain when I get pulled ov...

I'm going to take the hit. I don't want to go to court and drag it all out and get the 2 coppers into court and then they give evidence. It's not what I wanted on a reasonable Saturday but it could have been worse. I should have waited and then overtaken when there were no white lines. It's a learni...

Bit of legal advice needed chaps
Any legal boffs out there can I pick your brains. Here's the situation, Overtaking a learner driver doing 15mph on a single carriageway road 60mph limit. I overtook the learner when safe to do so but unfortunately went over the double white lines in the middle of the road. So out comes white astra f...

Chavscum! Soo many people like that now. I had some cobbler go flying down the wrong side of the road so he could cut back infront of me becuase I pulled infront of him at a roundabout. Er hello he wasn't on the roundabout. He had his wife and kid in the car too. Some people suffer so much from road...

Pics are good but get some with a tape measure in there. Give it some scale. Or put something in the hole that people can sense scale like a can of coke or similar. If you can show the depth etc then yes the council or the contractors that did the work are negligent and you have a claim. However the...

Well, took one for a test drive today. It was an ex-demonstrator with 4k miles on the clock in black. Have to say that I was very impressed but am not completely won over. The interior is very nice, everything is laid out nicely and I love the seats. Also, I can sit upright without my head touching...
