Just sold the block to a mate, so have a 1.8 Turbo charger with manifold and downpipe sitting here doing nothing now.
There's no play in it at all and no good to me.

Re: Worst (most retarded) mistake working on a car??

When I first had my metro I lent it to the missus, and she burnt the clutch out. So I fitted a new clutch kit, hopped in the car and spotted the thrust bearing sitting up on the scuttle panel  So had to split the box again to fit the fooker

Isn't the best place to advertise here with it being for T-series, but I have a set of 135 cams for sale out of a TF135.
Ideal for the ones with a 1.4 K-series

Ideally after 100 plus post? Or make a sensible offer

I weighed in a metro cat about 4 weeks back and got 35quid for it.

Or bang them on ebay as scrap and see what they fetch. I've seen scrap cats go for more on ebay than the price you'll get at the scrappies

Actually the clarke EN90 isnt a bad welder if your just doing body work. Anything over 3mil and its logger, and doesnt give enough penetration for a good weld. Should get one on ebay for around a tonne. All depends what you want it for. The ones that pop into lidls or aldis are logger on bodywork, b...

I had my left index finger last week cutting up sheet metal to weld the metro. No gloves  but lucky enough it wasn't spinning flat out. Nice wide fairly deep slice about an inch long. Fooking hurt!

My fault though as i removed the gaurd on the grinder :|

He's gonna need a cage or something with 160 ponies under his mashed up bonnet
