Re: Sykes ACR4 or pscan?

I don't know much about the Sykes offering so can't compare easily. Is the Sykes a stand alone product, the Pscan needs a laptop. You can get different modules for the Sykes but the Pscan will only do MG, Rover, Freelander and Mini. How much is the Sykes? How easy is it to use? Will it do other circ...

Does one still need the hardware fix or has this now been solved through software?

Hi Yorky The device and software have been designed by a real live person here in the UK, he is constantly updating the software with free updates to customers who have purchased the device. It can read information not accesable through OBD2 in the ECU, it also reads ABS and SRS ecus and will be able to read the Pektron BCU at some point. On a mk1 it can read the 5AS unit and reprogram fobs.

Then stick it in photobucket or similar.

The KV6 is a more reliable engine than the K4 with less HGF worries, main issue is the VIS failing but that is an easy fix and the clutch hydraulics are poor. For best MPG go for t...
