1998 Honda CB400 Super Four 'Version S'

Yo. As i now have a new bike i'm selling up my CB400. It is the super rare version 's' model which includes uprated shocks, adjustable forks and really powerful brembo 4 pot calipers on the front. Bad bits first! Its a used bike, in used condition - i'm not a fair weather rider so the bike does get ...

Do you mean the whole dash or just the instruments? Complete MGf dash would be a nightmare, its tonnes deeper than the metro item, but it would probably be about the right width.

Better plan - rip it all out, free performance and no more ugly dash :D

Go go a 820 vittie. Then you won't have a grandad image for long! You will have boy racers saying, "is that a turbo there". :D an now we hit the major snag. i have an auto only license so my choice of cars is very limited when it comes to rovers :( serves me right for being lazy though :o...

Regardless of what the engine's doing, you've got energy stored up in the wheels which are going silly speed. I wouldn't bet my life on, but I reckon it'd take off at some speed! Simply, as typically static friction has a higher coefficient than dynamic, the car will take off slower with the wheels...

Sis 220 GSi did a 5.8 0-60 on a G-meter with 258hp i think it was - its all about hetting the power down, there's no way Si could plant the throttle in 1st and get grip.

Not without hp to dispose of that torque. :P

Will a race really prove your car is better than his? Quicker or slower maybe, but better? Thats a matter of opinion. Owning a Rover you have to be ready for these remarks - i owned metros for years so i got pretty used to it.

You can actually hire the track for a day as a club from 9 - 5, we used to do this with metropower, might do it again this year. Makes for a great day, use the track as you want, full or short circuit, drag races on the straight etc. It worked out pretty cheap with about 15 of us paying.

IMHO, thats exactly why they're getting rare - people dont want/care for them. Everyone thinks Rovers suck so nobody care's when they do see them. Shame!

I've got no DV on my T28 but can't say I've heard any noises that I'd call compressor stall. It's pretty silent like the T25 was. Maybe I've just got a huge (quiet) boost leak :D My DV stuck closed and i was getting comp. stall on my T28, i could hear it but it was very quiet and my car runs 1.2bar.

Lol, what a ridiculous idea, actually wanting to do over 168mph on public roads. I can't beleive you got that speed with a 220hp spec - 300hp more likely. I once accelerated past 150 and let off, honestly i didnt want to go any quicker, its so not worth it. You must be a nutter!

I think a tf has alot of potential. I'm sure they could handle really well with decent suspension tweaks, the engines are easy to get up to ~180hp ish. Won't be as fast straight line as a coupe tubby, but would likely out handle one whilst probably being a much nicer car to drive. IMO there is alot ...
