either way, 620sli sucksorz, and a 220 or 420 would hammer it... the honda engine will do the miles, but its nothing exciting, nothing like a d16 for example... id say the torquey T series turbo is the best engine in the 620... No, has nothing to do with the alarm just the immobiliser. If the alarm isn't setting then I'd start by checking switches, especially the bonnet switch, as it's in the lock, so gets gummed up, so system thinks it's open, boot and door switches usually easy to spot as you'd get the open warning ligh...
