Excellent terminal, saw your car yesterday (i had the silver Mondeo), might have yours on film. What 60ft did you get? Traction was very hit or miss, with that terminal and better traction you should get into the low 13's.

hello there i saw your video on youtube against dazz in his solid cam engine.

60ft best was 2.4556 seconds (worst 2.8 )
330 ft was 6.4410 (worst 6.7)
1/8 9.46 @ 84mph

went up against my mate in his 4.6 bullitt mustang (14 second car) and was 0.7 second behind at 330 ft and beat him by 0.05 seconds

Basically i need to drop the tyre pressures and boost for the launch and wind it up in second low 13's here i come

Problem with dropping the pressures enough to make a difference is it makes the terminal drop, you'll find a world of difference if you go back May/June, it will be nice and sticky then.

What did the Mustang do BTW?

Thats the thing you have to look at, if other cars are turning in times slower than expected, makes you feel much better, should imagine the Mustang should be mid 13's at least? Hopefully mine will turn in a 14.5 in a couple of months. Good job on flying the Rover flag chaps!

It amazes me that people don't know about that car... and that is an old time, I'm sure it is just off being in the 9s now

It was run on dynopacks and they recorded 900lbft of torque and shutdown so peak power, at last asking is unknown.

Shame it snaps a shaft or demolishes a gearbox every time it see's the drag strip! Ive seen it loads of times, but only around twice have I seen it actually leave the paddock area!

That is the problem, the gearbox usually lasts two runs, and it isn't even a rover gearbox!
