Still all 1.8's. 3's engine is only a 1.5 which is inbetween a 1.4 105ps k-series and a 1.6 115ps k-series.

I didn't know the 1.5 was turbo though.

Considering the quality of previous press photos, these look actually quite good. Obviously, this is as good as it will get if past performance of the MG marketing dept is to go by.

It looks rarther alfa mito ish from the front plus interior looks bland... the btcc mg 6 special edition sounds $hit also.... i was hoping it would have good power but it only has 158 or sumit bhp... a shame a real shame.

It's a Fabia with a Kia front and tail lights from a people carrier on pram wheels.

Well, after all the waiting the car looks pretty cheap, it'll be priced way too high to sell and with adverts like the one above it's clear that the brand owners haven't got a clue about selling cars in the UK. I also think the MG6 is a good looking car but again, advertising is woeful.
We used to make great aspirational ads, sadly no more. Advertise the cars properly, get them out in the streets and use the BTCC successes as a base for brand awareness. Make a proper BTCC car and not just one with a few stickers on. I don't know how much influence SAIC has over adverts but they're doing it all wrong for the UK market (unless they don't really care as the cars are selling well in their home market). When the 6 was launched I thought "great", now I just get frustrated and very disappointed with the whole MG farce.
Finally, there is too much FUN in the ad, it looks like it's been written by a kid at school .

Kinda off subject but drove behind a Mazda 6 the other day and I was thinking it looks a lot like the mg 6 don't know if it was just me but does any1 else think they look similar? Its the new Mazda...... But I think the mg3 is a mix between punto/Fabia an for some reason. Corsa b
