No not yet!

I had arranged to meet Ian a few weeks back, to pick these belts up and return the IC, but when I rang all I got when it answered was music playing, not once but twice, I was at work and I didn't have the time to be messed around so just came on back

Steve I think Pete Fitz may have his mobile number.

I can remember when I got a MK3 Daqsh off him..... supposedly "mint" condition.... except for the dents , broken mounting points etc etc.

Not to mention he was the only person form the coupe group & here who sent me a rubber cheque....

what belts are you after steve?

right then stevedx, i've just had the bill for the rear bench with the 3 holes in on the supposedly good condition full leathers, Â£120, think that bout covers ya Â£13 belts dont ya think. I sorted you toblerone with your spoiler, althought late you did get it, Nad, sorry i'm on it now, i been bank to shove the cash in, the reason why i blocked you stevedx, was i got fed up of your belts questions, i never actually promised them you, if i remember, unless u want to pay me the Â£120, the turbo head, the headset and half leathers back, its really up to you, also the guy who had the dash, you did check it over before you took it, you could have said no :wink:

U didnt seriously expect a mint set of full leathers when you swapped you halfs for em

Â£120 isnt a bad 'upgrade price'

i didnt just swap halfs for them tho, a complete turbo head and a headset and he said they were good, i never mentioned the word mint in my reply at all did i

i dont mind having to clean them etc, but 3 holes in the same area and not being told about them is a bit annoying.

Right this is Sam, Steves wife replying, I am quite sick of this Ian as Steve did tell you he had not seen the Leathers properly. I think you had a fair swap considering he had FULL LEATHERS and you were more than keen to do the swap for HALF LEATHERS (Mmmm wonder why!!).Steve had seen them once, and you saw them when exchanged so could have said no to the deal. You DID promise the belts and you did not just tell Steve either, you told the person who did the swap on Steves behalf who I will not name as I will not drag him in to this, but to me you are calling more than one person a liar. You also said via another person online that you had NOT blocked Steve, so yet another lie from you, I can not understand why you blocked him on MSN, as he had neither been rude or abusive to you, he was just trying to finish the deal that had been agreed. Think we all get an idea of what sort of dealer you are don't we!! And before its said I am repling for one, because Steve has had a minor Op today and has not seen this yet and two, I can't stand little liars!!!
I can't believe you are willing to have all this hassle for (as you so kindly put it) Â£13 worth of belts. He still has the intercooler that was part of the deal (but incorrect) that you wanted back and is still willing to give back to you (although with this hassle I dont see why!)

lol I saw the full leathers at 4am in the morning, pitch bloody black, you ever tried looking at items in the dark? they dont show up to well! I didnt notice the holes until i started cleaning the rear bench the day after. simple mate and im not having a dig but deal in the dark and you'll get stung and also not every deal turns out rosey and fine,

its just life.

and a personal opinion of mine is once contacted this argument should have gone through pms or summat and not here for all and sundry to see!

I don't mind Sam it was me, yes it was 4 in the morning, and was dark but you had 2 sets of headlights to check them over, yours on the coupe and mine on the truck, but you were so eager to get them in not our fault you couldn't be bothered to check! Also you were offered the swap back as you said you were unhappy, but did you take up the offer? no you said it was ok.
As far as I'm aware the deal was for the head, headset, cam & fan belts, dizzy cap/leads and an intercooler. the head was as you said good, err no it wasn't all the threads had been stripped for the exhaust manifold bolts.
Also if as you now say the belts weren't part of the deal then why promise to bring them to Trax, walk right past us and ignore us and then say after we got a response from you "Oh sorry I forgot them!"

today....today is a day for RT history.

The item Ian sent me arrived today.

Just hope it works :ermm:
