paul iv downloaded the two zips but cant get rave to work with my version of acrobat reader, keeps checking net for updates then does nothing further.
Tried with the version of acrobat reader contained in the extracted zip file (version 4.) and this prompts me for a password.
could you shed any light?
cheers
Jon

right yes the zips both extracted without any errors. The version of acrobat reader i have on my computer is 6.0.1. but doesn't want to play ball with the RAVE pdf files.
Acrobat reader version 4.0 is contained as part of the RAVE files so i thought it might be worth using that older version to get a PDF file up and running but i get asked for a password upon launch
I have the 'RAVE' icon on my desktop but double clicking this brings an 'unable to launch Reader' error.
I know ian (vi turbo no.2) cant get his to work either.
thanks
Jon

i downloaded the Zip files last night and got the same error
The directory structure of the files when unzipped is incorrect compared to the files that are on your FTP that arnt zipped Paul, so the program is looking for files that are in the wrong place so not working, i put some in the right places and got some of it working, but there were that many that were wrong i gave up in the end and it only half worked
As you say though, the files that arnt zipped are fine(not that i managed to download them as it timed out/got passworded)

Nope, didnt get it, after failing with the zips, i tried downloading the files and left it going last night, but when i checked it this morning it had failed to download it all
If its still up i will try again though, i can see the other files working fine, as they are structured correctly in the right folders and so on, but the zips are buggered
appreciate you sticking them up though
