Its like a dark grey with just over 50k miles, with gbe and induction kit. Just need to work out where to put a boost gauge... no obvious place like there is in the vitesse. Gonna have tinkle around till i know exactly what boost its running!

grant?... what boost do your GBE's normally come set as? the guy i bought it off said hes fitted it but not turned it up cause he didn't have a gauge?

Will host some pics when i work out how!

Or, another common place on the 600's is where the fag lighter usually lives :D

Rob

The boost gauge does look neat in the cigarette lighter but I found it a bit scary to be foot to the floor on full boost and having to look down to see what the gauge was reading ;)

Yep will second that, the one on the Vit is where the clock usually lives down by the gearstick, pain to look at while driving, but will do till I sort out a pillar mount :D

Yeah, that’s what I had in the vit, and its just plain dangerous... but is a perfect fit and looks good.

Pillar mount is deffo the way forward.... Does anyone stock ready made complete pillars, with the mount molded in?

Bit like:

Thanks for all the ideas (and pictures :) ). Putting it in the air vent seems like a good idea, but I still think a pillar mount one would be better. But if nobody sells a ready made pillar with mount I'm gonna have to forget about it.

Cheers

There was some talk of having a pillar trims made with built in pods but I don't think it got off the ground.

The aftermarket one is easy enough to fit though (Even I managed to do it)
