Oppinions on a gold 420

Ok i dont have a picture to hand but ive got a rover 414 in gold, im fitting a 2.0ltr turbo in, But just wondered what you lot think of this colour its the same gold as they use on the new rover 75's, is it a dated colour or do you think it looks cool? i might respray it otherwise just cant decide whether to keep it original colour, its got black Gti 5 spoke alloys and side spats and lowered with later bumpers, fogs etc, was thinking black tints would finish it off against the gold?

or i might have it sprayed tahiti or white, :S

Gold works much better on larger, executive/luxury sized cars. And even then, only certain cars can get away with it.

Thinking in terms of Rovers, anything smaller than a 600 will not look right in gold.

All IMO, of course.

Why?

Just buy a 420 turbo in a decent colour.

And sleepers Rock.Theres a guy on the GTROC with a bog std rust included 1988 Nissan Bluebird......with 450bhp RB26DETT and GTsT RWD running gear.With 14" steelies and scratched hubcaps!!! Be warned hes out there waiting for us...
