Can somone confirm that I have a late/post 95 alternator for my 220 Turbo Coupe please.

It is a standard Rover item with the following numbers:
Type - A1271 - 85
Part Number - YLE10128

it also has the date on the alternator 06-93

From what I have been told late i.e post 1995 turbo's all use the 85amp alternator and Turbo's upto 1995 used the 65amp alternator.

My car is a 1995 Turbo Coupe, before I fit the alternator I need to make sure I am putting the correct one one.

if its got aircon I would use the higher rated one,I think aircon and non aircon are different mountings anyway,think thats the only difference
