have i been ripped off

Post by Scott »

can someone check on the EPC the following code?

LYU10011.

these are head dowels for t16 engine...

the sticker on my packet says 5X lyu10011

my receipt says for 2x this code

I think he's charged me for 2 packs, as its 3.93 (inc vat), and i swear the last 3 packs ive bought were no where near 4quid!

And to make matters worse, i stepped right in a massive bastid puddle upto my ankle

lol, i even told the bloke that it was like twice as expensive as the last load id bought, and that i saw him type qty=2 on the screen.

infact, i think i got ripped off on the camshaft seals aswell i bought a few months ago, as i was going to buy 4, and when he told me the price (of 8) i said no fecking way!.

if you go into kernahans, make sure you get served by the one with dark hair and glasses (been there ages) the new fat bloke is obviously ripping poeple off (perhaps to buy pies!).

well i phoned up and explained, and no , they are nearly £2 EACH, and not £2 for 2 (which is what ive paid in the past).

I told them that i had checked the EPC but still said i was wrong.

infact, i will still have the receipt for the ones i bought a year and a half ago for the m16 rebuild, but i doubt theyll be interested lol, and again for the ones i purchased for the 420rebuild!

ah well, i shall simply vote with my feet and not go there again! shame really as they have been quite helpful in the past!

OK OK I'll rephrase

Ask Clive nicely well tell him, he'll come round, start doing the jobs you hate, stop for a tea break, eat you out of house and home, drink all your tea/coffee then go home leaving jobs half finished, not to be seen until tea time next day!

That's more like it :P

Ok, now I'm freaked out...

I read that piece of text at the exact same time as 'cassie' was on the radio and sang the line... in time with my reading it.

That was wierd... although completely off topic.

Try calling my local Rover agent - Brindley Kia (they still do Rover!).

Get a price from them and then go back to Kernahan and complain.

its not worth it to be honest.

id compare the above actions with stamp collecting or indeed trainspotting.

i shall simply vote with my feet, i know its only a couple of quid, but the customer is always right, especially if they are right! Ive spent hundred in there over the last couple of years, so a bit miffed especially as it has happened before (im fairly certain on the cam seals).
