May be worth having a word with Skatiechick see if anything like that's up and running on the 200 site :D

Yeah there is 220 GTi, and 220 GSi too. I just haven't advertised it very well yet. I have been concentrating on the administation and magazine side of things at the mo. If you want to volunteer your details on the contact form then they will be held securely with respect to the data protection act.

If you want your car up on the members section then have a look and email some piccies and I will place it up.

Also if you want to write something for the first club mag then get writing and send it to me ;)

Noted I will change it.

It was 250 420 GSi Sport turbos wasn't it? I am not clued up on the difference between GSi Sport turbo, and GSi turbo. Perhaps a 400 lover can elaborate for me?

there are at least 2800 non coupe r8 turbo's , at the least, exluding those registered at non rover outlets, according to the EPC...

hopefully a more detailed split can be found, but, im not too fussed :D

that would mean about 600 420's , 1200 gsi and a 1000 gti's ? as said, will give lindz a hand on the epc if she needs it.

There isnt much difference, i THINK the sport had fogs, but no aircon and the non sport had aircon, but no fogs. I know thats all the difference there was between my 2.

My old one (andy's) was a sport turbo but that didnt have fogs or aircon, althought it did have half black leather apposed to the grey and it had sidespats, and mudflaps which i dont thing the gsi turbo had?

My GSI turbo has spats, well it should, they are missing, but the mountings are there and one spat is in the boot!

I think Rover just made it up as they went along, speaks volumes really! LOL

mudflaps would have been an option form the salesroom and ive seen non-sports with fogs too.

as rovex said....they put on whatever was in the parts bin it seems

Well if i remember rightly Welz's had fogs and half grey leather but had no spats or mudflaps and that was just a Gsi turbo non sport turbo

My gsi turbo has the black half leather and had the spats (no foglights or mudflaps though)

Also has the longer ratio box (130ish mph) maybe the sports had the shorter ratio box?

On the MG-Rover forums is the official Rover vehicle specs, in PDF form, doesnt seen very true to real life though..

Whereabouts on .org is that please? Looks an interesting document!

AFAIK the gsi sport turbo was dropped mid 94 when the gsi turbo got side impact beams and the radio fob (fogs became an option at this point)

I tend to agree, but the site is SO much bigger than this one and bandwidth has to be paid for somehow.. I just dont agree with what payment gets you.

Wasn't sure where best to post this, but I saw a white 420GSi which was badged 'Turbo' just near Beverley this afternoon when I was going to the garage to check on the progress of the ti.

It's the first 420 turbo I've ever seen! It was an M reg...
