MAP!

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en ... iwloc=addr

Its the road called Knighton Hill that comes off the road marked in yellow, at the crossroads by Compton Beauchamp, and its sign posted around there too.

Can people who are attending please PM me for my mobile number so you can call me if you get lost, or if you're going to be late etc (don't want to post the number on a public forum!).

Cheers,

Stefan.

Right well I'm stuck waiting to get my replacement gearbox on as my Dad has decided to bugger off just when I required his assistance, so just in case I can't get it sorted today, is there any possibility of anyone local to come and give me a quick hand prior to the meet tomorrow morning?

I have all the parts I need now, just need a hand lifting the damn thing on to the engine and securing it, and I'm sure the driveshafts are going to be a pain in the yaris like last time

F**kin' A. Good man for the map. I'm covered in all directions, as either it lives or dies, but even if it dies, I'm covered by GEM, and I'm buying a new clutch in the next few days, going to have to drop out of the Longbridge meet to fit it 12th/ 13th (any help volunteered will be most gratefully accepted, and rewarded with stonk-loads of cuppas and a few pints when we next meet up!:D)

I know, who'd have thought that this meet, originally intended to be about four people and us, turned into a giant gathering?

As said in the other thread, looks like I'm not gonna make it, as my cars still not working, and Vard was supposed to be round mine at 9.30am to give me a hand to see if we could solve the problem and not turned up, so he's either fast asleep or his clutch has died.

Hope all was ok guys. Wouldnt believe my luck today. Went to pick my disco stuff up and half of it missing. Spent most of the day down the police station getting ref numbers for the insurance. Just really pissed off bout that and the fact I missed out.Bout £1k of equipment gone and the police gonna investigate the venue as they should have locked it all up.

Soz guys.

Bad luck mate,

Day went very well :) half of us met in the white horse car park and half of us met at the white horse pub (mistake on out part), we all ended up in the real white horse car park which was pretty pictureesque and basically had a meet and greet said hello to each other took some pictures and looked around everyones cars, (could tell everyone was jealous of my offside aerodynamic mod *cough dents*) pictures are up in the gallery, after about an hour there we all left off for a drive to abigndon along some really pretty backroads, (the 14 rovers in a convoy really was a lovely sight! :D) and ended up in a pub car par near a pub where we had another bit of a chat and general milling and some people left and the rest of us went on to have a pub lunch and some more chit chat which was good fun to :), everyone was really nice and it was great to meet you all, and it all went without a hitch (suprisingly) well that is apart from vard leaving his keys in his car with the engine on, the doors locked themselves so I had to break into it for him using my trusty coat hangar :P thanks again to everyone and we hope to do another one farily soon.

About two minutes after everyone left, I discovered that when I turned her on and left her warming up, she locked herself with the keys in and the engine running... Embarrassing, but fortunately everyone had gone, so noone was there to laugh.

Sorry there are so many, ladies and gents. I'm pressed for time and just wanted to get them all uploaded, so I've not been selective.
Enjoy!

P.s: Yes, I did edit the levels very badly on that one of mine, I just want it to represent the colour it actually is, as the photos make it look horrifyginly orange... :(

it was good to see the other rover members, 1st time for me so it was good to see some faces to names. A lot of you managed to see the phoenix project up close and personal so now you see what the vtec build was all about.

Was a very impressive build, you must have put a LOT of work into that especially since the bodykit looks so well fitted, sounded good to, would have liked to see what the neons look like but would only look good when its dark I guess?
