Im going to pull the broken VVC engine out of my coupe next Wednesday so ill see what the damage is. I guess im best to not turbo the 1.6 as my metro is the only car i have mobile atm so need it reliable for abit.

I agree with Brian and don't see the point. You were told what would happen with the vvc and it went bang. Just make a nice and reliable vvc metro that you can enjoy for a while.
