I just couldn't stand the thought of spending more than pocket change on a KIA!
if you had £7.5k what car would you get?

For 7.5k I'd buy this (I sold it for £7300)

255 bhp @ wheels, close ratio box, rear LSD, driver adjustable front/rear split, great fun, and while not as quick as my coupe, still wasn't shy, matching a nitroused EVO 6 up the strip. Sounded amazing, was immaculate and the most fun car I've driven (that's out of a good range).
I honestly doubt I could get a better car for £7.5k, tried EVO 6's etc, standard R32 GTR etc and they didn't come close. Should be noted that the Type R doesn't compare to a standard scooby, very different car to drive.

Not sure which, but a any of the following would be good!
mk1 CRX ( id love to build a really serious 12V turbo)
mk2 CRX VTEC
EF Civic
Celica 4th gen, (GT2 conversion project)
Corolla AE82
Rover 220 gti turbo or Rover 200 mk2, And do a first like a KV6 transplant, or a C27 or C30 honda swap?
Maestro turbo.
Mazda 323 3dr, with a KL 2.5 V6 and single turbo set up.

I was bidding on a left on ebay, never had any money tho, but the guy would have taken 8K for it.
needed a little work, but the body was excellent. Think the clutch pin (classic problem) needed sorting, and the housing was cracked.
All common faults though.
If i had won the auction, id have found the money from somewhere!
Thing is, the parts are HIDEOUSLY expensive. I,e £75 for the plastic badge at the back.

A rover on the road is worth 4 in the scrappie
They do sound good, but I dont know what it is but you see a scooby now and you dont look again, its just another car, but youll still take a second look at an evo, Specially the EVO 6.

Forged pistons, rods, 2.1 litre, tubular manifold, big turbo, vernier pullys, head worked, 270 cams and much more all on the way!
I personally would go for my ultimate dream car
A honda NSX!!
Always loved these, but I am a Honda lover myself, always have been since I have owned my CRX, and I think I always will be, 1 day I will have my Type R, probably the accord as its still quick, nice looking, and family orientated

Sorry to go off topic but if I had £7.5K to spend on a car I would consider it disposable income, so I would put the lot on Detroit City in the Champion Hurdle in Cheltenham, more so since I heard at dinner time that Charlie Swan may be coming out of retirement to ride Brave Inca.

I'd buy an Accord Type R..... in fact, I think I did.
Well, I tell I lie, I didn't spend that much, despite a lot going for that sorta money and initially thinking I'd spend around £7k.
Other cars which would be nice would be:
Volvo S60 T5 or 2.4T
200SX S14a
Teg-R
Audi A4 1.8T
Octavia vRS (plus remap to 225bhp)
BMW 328ci
Mitsi Galant/Legnum VR4
Subaru Legacy B4 RSK
I pretty much considered all of the above at different points... well, ok, the last 2 weren't serious thoughts due to absolutely silly running costs.
