Locating my old 220GSI Turbo
Hi,
A few years ago I sold my lovely tahiti blue 220GSI Turbo. The reg was N337 VNU. Id love to oen it again or any 220/ 420 GSI Turbo model. If anyone could help I'd really appropriate it.
I have owned both the 220 and 420 GSI turbos in the past and they were by far the best cars I have owned.
Thanks in advance.

Hey Eddie, didnt you sell it to mark? Yes you did im sure thats his old car, we did a bit of work on that, new engine and box, he let it go a couple of years ago....
Didnt you used to own a white 420 turbo around spalding? That you sold for like £400 about 10 or so years back?
Im sure you know my brother Dan?

Re: Locating my old 220GSI Turbo
I assumed it was now running on a private plate as it don't come up as scrapped
.
T16Coupe. If your friend ever wishes to part with it in the future please let me know. I remember paying good money for her on eBay as she's was in lovely condition.
Vinny, indeed. I had the 420 off Dexter but it needed so much work it wasn't even a labour of love in the end due to sill rust and windscreen rust etc. I think that wa N241 YNT or something similar.
Likewise, if any other 220's or 420's ever come to market please let me know

Re: Locating my old 220GSI Turbo
From what I remember of it from 3-4 years back, slight bubbling on wing edges and arches, the sills where spats connect were on the way but still solid. Lacquer peel was an issue but had the brembodge brakes and was very clean inside.
Its drove very well too, well until it broke down on the way back from POL,
Hopefully its living on somewhere, I have the original engine ( stripped ) and head in my shed
, so if you want to make a coffee table its all yours

That will be why nothing comes up on the original number.T16COUPE wrote:..... a private plate on now
As a guide, I have found that if a vehicle comes up on the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry (https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/), it hasn't been recorded as scrapped, and will show on the enquiry result if it has been exported. It will also come up on the MOT History enquiry (https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/?_ ... 1450867511) unless it is located in Northern Ireland (the NI MOT data isn't yet incorporated on the DVLA MOT History Check database).
If it returns no result from the Vehicle enquiry, but the MOT History check still brings up its MOT history, it has been scrapped.
If neither form returns any results, it is likely to be because the number has been changed.

That would be an interesting table. Is it just the block and the head left? What price?
