Engine covertion

hi dont know ifits been posted before but here goes
how hard would it be to put a rover 420/220 turbo engin into a rover 414
and would i need to uprate anything like clucth and rear discs also a rough guide on price? cheers

It would be easier, and probably cheaper to buy a 420 turbo.

Agreed. I've seen Turbocharged Rovers of all shapes and sizes going for what's best described as loose change...

that dont bother me i have done loads to my current car and want to put an 2litre turbo engine in get my back bumper doen and then get a flip paint i have 3grand on my bedside table just waiting to be spent on my car

Looks like a predator 2 bumper to me... Bit to open, to much mesh...

I don't think you would get a Turbo conversion and flip respray for £3k, you could pick up a mint 220 turbo tho...

A half decent Flip job will be all of 3K.

As for a converstion, if you can do it yourself, then the bulk of the cost will be a donor engine / ecu / gearbox / driveshafts ( find a written off donor car )
