Bolts+ Screws,

Post by stuart ferrand »

H i one+all,
My lads doing an NVQ,at a training place in Hull clled Road Ahead, one of the pupils there bought himself a cheapish M16 Turbo 220 Coupe, needed a bit of work on her body was decent and the Interior was very nice cream upholstery, she was running but a little lumpy!nothing serious.
The pupil asked his tutor if they could work on it there as a project, yes was the answer nice car+good project experience. All the group worked on it since xmas, head off timing sorted and all sorts done!
Last friday the car was cranked over for the first time, there was a terrible noise from the engine luckily it did'nt fire up!! the tutor just could'nt work out why this terrible noise was occuring,he wisely stopped all, trying to fathom what the bloody hell was happening,he took it on himself soley at this point,it had him scratching his head!!!!!
The head was taken off as a last resort and there was the problem!!! a bolt in two of the bores and a nut in another and a screw in the fourth, there was bent valves and damage to the piston tops. whoever dropped them down the sparkplug holes must be one evil little b888tard to do something like that! My lad was gutted cos he had worked on it the most along with the lad who owns it. Dont know the out come yet as this was friday.keep you posted.
regards stuart

As you say mate its all down to been a jealous pr**k...

That lads probably worked and saved to buy that coupe...The lad who did it if they find out wants to be kicked off the course and banning from colleges...Id take a decent chance of an education off him,But then he'll only sponge off society instead of working for a living...

Hope all ends up well stuart
