Oh my god how lucky am i? (pics)

Post by RS RUDEBOY »

So i'm sat in my lounge (I live in a ground floor apartment) on the computer just tinky winky about on ebay , the girlf is waiting for eastenders to come on and there's this banging sound.
So i goto the front door and there's no-one there :?
The banging can still be heard so i goto the kitchen window and no-one's there either but the banging can still be heard.
Next i go into my bedroom which backs onto the flat carpark (my car is parked directly out side my bedroom window) i whip open the curtains and the shitty white nova that is parked next to mine (its been left there by the people who were living opposite me but have since moved out) has gone up in flames!

I have never moved so fast i can tell you! I ran to the kitchen and got my keys , jumped out the bedroom window and into the rovey , i think there was more smoke pouring off my tyres as i moved it than there was coming from the nova!

Luckily the fire had just started so no damage to my car thank god!

So i'm chatting to half the residnets from the block and someone says " have you seen the one out front?" im thinking what the f**k!? I walk out of the alley which leads from the carpark to the front of the flats and in the car park opposite the flats there's a laguna up in flames!!

Seriously i thought Rushden wasn't too bad, now i'm paranoid to f**k about parking the car anywhere within a 10 mile radius of this shi**y town lolol

So i came in about 15 mins after the nova fire was put out and uploaded the pics to the p.c and then to photobucket and the Laguna is still roaring!!

Oh my days what a night!

Anyway here's a few pics!

Spot the white nova , my space is next to that on the right...

Apperntly the kids who lived opposite us with their single mum came back to the car and were trying to start it , couldnt get it going so torched it instead
I guess they were that pi**ed off they did the laguna on the way home :x

Oh well a bit of excitement and no damage done the the rover!

I've sent off about 10 emails tonight to letting agencies and the council asking about garage rentals , id rather bike it to and from the garage at night to put the car away as i'm sooo paranoid now!

The worse thing is , if me and the girlf had say gone to to tescos in her car or gone out for a drink i'd be posting up pics of my car with one side stripped of its paint and completly f**ked!

**If this post is in the wrong section then please move it as i didnt know where to put it lol

Just goes to show, everyones responsible for there cars.

If you leave your nova and move out, its gonna get nicked/torched, pretty bloosy simple...

My metro was only parked for 3 days (and they had seen it hadnt moved) so they nicked it!! shows that they do a reccy and then go for it, not a spur of hte moment thing, and prolly not drunk... Seriously, people dont just think , ill nick a car. All there chav mates would have been talking about doing it for days.....

Ouch, weldone for acting quick.

People just dont think,

For a short time a single mum lived near us, she had, beielive it or not a L reg grey Coupe, 1.6, she split up with her i guess BF and had an agurment over the car, so one of them tourched it!!thats what I guess, car got burnt out anyway!:(

I think the comment on burning the Nova is harsh?

Nice coupe btw!

Yes, but there was a name change from Vauxhall Nova to Vauxhall Corsa when the new '93 model came out to fall into line with the Opel name (they were always called Corsas under the Opel name).
