For a garage to fit springs to my car to get it lowered?

A garage would probably say 3 hours labour, so up here anyway 90 quid plus VAT.

I paid £80 to have mine done. I'd of done it myself but the bolts on all 4 struts were seized solid and it was middle of winter and i couldnt be bothered messing about in the cold so rather pay someone else to do it. That price included new bush's in the rear arms aswell as he had to burn the old ones out to unseize the bolts.

somewhere arround the £100 mark is about right

Save money, get it done properly, and learn something too.

I wouldn't trust a garage to change a bulb.

I might ring a few places today, see a rough price someone said they will do it for £60 which is quite good!

Fook me thats cheap to fit 4 springs.

I would have said the £200 mark as above.

It must cost nearly the £80 for 4 springs.

Or are you just talking about fitting only?

Even then I would have said at least £120.

Well g-max springs with fitting is goin cost me £120 i cant complain at that surely!!!

As jake says go and see gazza mate. You'll be hard pushed to find better, gaz has done a fair but for me in the past and has always been bang on with his quality of work and prices - plus he does a nice cup of tea!
