Hi chaps.
My FDH is now up for sale. It's been my pride and joy for the last 4-5 years and I've tried to make sure it had the best of everything. Along came a company car about 18 months ago, I parked the FDH up for a number of months and things just didn't seem the same thereafter. It now has an engine problem. I suspect HGF. It HAS overheated and I couldn't get it to start. It's been suggested by someone quite knowledgeable on here that the head might have warped. When towing it last night, my Dad did manage to start it, so I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with it but I've lost patience now and just want rid of it. For the purpose of this ad, please assume it will not start and will have to be recovered.
Oil changed every 6-8k with Fuchs 10w50 Fully Synth
KV85 ignition leads
NGK Iridium plugs
Manual boost controller
HKS SSQV BOV
Boost gauge plumbed in and sitting near A pillar
Alpine head unit
Mongoose stainless exhaust
ZS180 front brake setup
BRM Alloys with 2 brand new Goodyear F1 GSD3s up front
Interior, I would say is very good. Tiny bit of leather wear on drivers bolster.
Big box of receipts, lots of Rover history, etc.
Car has done about 88k
Passed MOT about three weeks ago.
I put 6 months tax on it the same time.
Bad bits:
Bonnet flew into windscreen so will need replacing (windscreen has been replaced)
Oil leak somewhere around the sump plug area
Engine doesn't start
Passenger wing mirror glass fell out the other night, started flapping around and has left some tiny scratches on the door
Drivers side door handle broke so replaced with a green handle (could not find a tahiti one anywhere)
The usual rear spoiler 'bubbling' on edges
Aircon doesn't work
Rad fans don't work (I can see one of the earth wires is off, perhaps that's got something to do with it)
Heater matrix bypassed at present (trivial to pop the hoses back on though)
Bodywork in general I would say is average certainly nowhere near mint (on ebay I'm sure some would class it as pretty good but it's nowhere near the shine that my '57 plate A4 was)
I've got some recent pics I can email, please ask.
Location is SA14, just off junction 48, M4.
£650. All enquiries to PM please.

Re: Coupe Turbo (FDH) with engine problem
got any pics? - EDIT just seen the bottom line (Can you PM me some pics please?)
Can you help at all on the delivery/recovery (I am litterally on the opposite side of the UK) - Wasn't going to get any more coupes after I sold my last one but you never know!
