Gauging interest stainless stuff - 200/400/600/Zr/brm

Post by vinny19791 »

Ok I need to raise some fundage

So deciding whether to start this again or not.

I'm also aware that my trader status has expired this will be rectified if any interest.

I need to make carl a brace as I owe him one
I also have found etv s maestro tray 8)
So

Rover 200/400 wedge

Rear upper stainless braces £30
Rear upper twin stainless brace Joined £45
Rear lower stainless braces £30
Stainless battery tray £30
T16 Stainless plug covers £15
K series I may look into £15

Rover 600

Stainless battery trays £30
Stainless plug covers t16 £15

Brm/Zr

Rear upper strut braces £30
T16 stainless plug covers £15
Zr/brm stainless battery tray (possible) £40
As I say merely gauging interest at the minute

As with everything, depends on price, but interested in batt tray for a 600, mine seems to be dissolving/rusting into oblivion.

I'd be interested in a rear upper brace for the zr and the r8 wedge. Have you any pictures of what these look like, showing overall build quality / welding etc?

Lower front brace for the R8?

People may still want battery trays but as I thought mine was lost without a trace I bought the entire stock of new battery trays at a bargain price from Xpart and flooded the market with them.

Front brace can take a few forms.

The most simple is the same as the rear, i.e. between the arm mounting point to prevent them flexing. An issue on the R8 as shown by all the chassis cracks.

A more advanced one would be a cradle joining to the front subframe mounting points but that'd be much more complicated.

Might be interested in an R8 rear upper, and very interested in a front lower (which *should* then automatically fit a 200/25/ZR bubble).

Well hopefully I've responded to everyone either on here or pm. By the end of the week I can get an idea of what is wanted, then can start getting stuff fabricated. Probably looking at 4 weeks until a delivery date. But I have my own Zr here that I may look at to see what else I can offer.

Thanks again.

Ps would a Zr/brm battery tray interest anyone?
Slightly more complicated as the airbox bolts to one side and ecu to the other. But it's something I'll consider, although it's plastic and doesn't rust the Bolts must be made of dust
