Have thought about getting chickens in the garden, they are clean and reasonably easy to keep and i think it would be quite satisfying producing our "own" eggs. The other half is terrified of birds tho

Freaky. In all my years on a car forum I have never discussed duck eggs until last night/this morning and now it's raised it's head on another forum. Weird? lmao

They have huge yolks and the whites are quite 'rubbery' in a good way :) More substance to them than duck or hen eggs.

Never had duck eggs, but tbh I dont eat that many anyway. Not a food I'd fuss about getting the tastiest version of, although I do buy free range.

The damage these things do to your car if thrown hard enough!!

Had an egg thrown at my car the other week by the local youths (those were the days) but luckly missed me. I've previously got hit in my R100 and the damage it does to your paintwork!, put a circle of cracks in the paintwork and a nightmare to clean off if it gets into small areas.

Im sure an ostrich egg would write a car off

I think duck eggs are a bit eggsotic for me. As for that ostrich egg I think I'd be eggstrodinarily eggsausted trying to eat it all, even if I had you lot egging me on seeing if I'd eggsplode if I eggsepted the challenge to eat it all.

I think £15 for an eggcedingly large egg is eggsorbitant, but for an eggsperiment I'd have a go at one.

That's all yolks!
