What would you have done? She has now been arrested. A good advert for contraception.

We have different races, religions and cultures, which have always divided us, but descrimination of any kind is ultimitely down to ignorance.

Some descriminators may be intelligent but they dont and never will have wisdom.

Cringeworthy. She appears drunk.

If she's an example of "British" then I wouldn't want to live here.

She was arrested shortly after. She lives in New Addington, Croydon. No disrespect to anyone but when I was self employed I delivered a few times up there, not a very nice place, although that doesnt determine your outlook.

Notice how the toddler did'nt even flinch throughout the whole ordeal? Must be used to it.

But of course... lovley place

Lisas Dads side of the family all live in New Addington and have done all there lives, needless to say i frequent the place alot and have done for years, my last memory of useing that tram was between Addington Village and Fieldway, all was well when all of a sudden a rock was hurled threw the window by the local youthes, it actually flew over the top of a newborn baby that was asleep in its pram :|

I think someone who says such nasty things as publicly as that in that area like that is very stupid... when she gets out she will probably get stabbed

Freedom of speech is the freedom to speak freely without censorship. In practice, the right to freedom of speech is not absolute in any country and the right is commonly subject to limitations, such as on libel, slander, obscenity, incitement to commit a crime, etc.
The right to freedom of expression is recognized as a human right under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Article 19 goes on to say that the exercise of these rights carries "special duties and responsibilities" and may "therefore be subject to certain restrictions" when necessary "[f]or respect of the rights or reputation of others"
Hate speech is any communication that disparages a person or a group on the basis of some characteristic such as race, color, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, or other characteristic
In the United Kingdom, several statutes protect several categories of persons from hate speech. The statutes forbid communication which is hateful, threatening, abusive, or insulting and which targets a person on account of skin colour, race, nationality (including citizenship), ethnic or national origin, religion, or sexual orientation. The penalties for hate speech include fines, imprisonment, or both.

True, but she's claiming an inherent superiority to the others. Not exactly a winning argument

I am quite curious as to what she feels she contributed to her Britain that made it once great.

Still, next question: assuming she shut up, would you?

Amazed at the 'freedom of speech' comment, you are actually defending that?? Imagine how hat poor kid is going to end up with that sort of background noise in his head all the time.

Anjem Choudary springs to mind. The vile creature is free to stand in the streets preaching hatred for the west & non-muslims, calling for all muslims to murder 'the infidels' that surround them.

And if that wasn't enough, The british taxpayer supports him to the tune of £25,000/yr in benefits.

BTW I'm not defending Emma West. I'm just pointing out the opposite side that southside mentioned.

The woman in the second video further down the page has a vague grasp on her own language, let alone any other!

This comment made me smile:
Guess how many of the UK expats here in Amsterdam speak our native Dutch language.Your options are A: None. B: One. C: None.
For British people, Spain has been the most popular country to visit since 1994, with 13.8 million visits in 2005.France was second in popularity, with 11.1 million visits.Guess how many of these tourists speak Spanish or French.Dutch people learn Dutch, English, German and French in school. Now ask yourself - how many languages do you speak ?So please, drop the whole "speak our language" thing. Most of the English people hardly speak English, just read the comments here.

i dont agree that she should have been locked up tbh. what she did was far less of a problem that what Din pointed out. IMO the scum who threw that rock should be thrown in prison for several months, british or not.

I wont really comment on the video as i usually come across as racist myself when doing so. The only thing i will say is that i hate feeling like a foreigner in my own country.

I read earlier that Leicester is looking like its going to be the first place in the country where if you are white british you are going to be a minority by the end of the next decade. That sentence made me feel sick.

as for the comment of the dutch, why should a tourist have to speak the damn language?! tourism helps THEIR country so sod off.

There are several Poles who work with me that cannot speak more than a handful of words in English. My point is, with all this health and safety balls going round at the minute how can they understand how to do a safe job?

I like to think I'd give anyone a fair shot, but I agree - if they can't understand the lingo they can't do the job properly.

If I was moving or working abroad I'd learn their lingo. I think it is a bit off that ex-pats don't make the effort. Going on holiday is different, as you say. I try to learn a few basic words for wherever I'm going though. The odd "please" or "thankyou" in local lingo seems to go a long way sometimes.
