Since buying my ZT I have been browsing and posting on a 75/ZT forum, which is so busy it's untrue!
Then I come back to here and it's dead....apart from the usual questions over and over again about fitting a bigger turbo or making a ZR faster by a 17 year old newbie.
I do still browse here but there's nothing interesting to comment on anymore

As tempting as it is and judging by the build/progress thread you did you did a great job but boost is the only way forward for me now.

I think also, zr turbo owners getting shot down as well. Times are changing, the rover brand is gone and there is a separation amongst different version owners.
Also as said,
The forged and non forged separation. There is a lot of difference of opinions on how and what an be achieved.
I check every day, mostly interested in what's on offer for sale.
Getting quiet? Hope it's not a natural progression here as folks drift away to other non-Rover or MG cars.
Fifteen years ago the Triple-M site was alive and thriving with lots of enthusiastic MG Metro, MG Maestro and MG Montego owners. One by one they drifted away until about a year ago, the Triple-M site was no more.
I still have an MG Montego Turbo.

I'm trying to persuade a friend to buy a rover at the minute so i am doing my bit to keep this alive
I do think some people stick to the same t-series conversions as its a fast motor for pennies!
I want to see whats happening with the ZR-EVO that was being done
The Facebook group seems to have taken a certain amount away from the forum, I see a lot of odds and ends being posted on there which never show up here, trick bits, bling, certain amount of banter.
Think it's due to ease of being able to post pics with one touch as apossed to faffing about with photobucket tbh. In the time I've been here I've noticed a decline in "busyness" of the forum. And any newbs just ask one question, get their answer and never return.
Is the decline on the site from the time the FB exchanges were set up or, that merely coincidence. I lost patience with that and no longer participate on RT via FB.

Its not just this forum, there are many others just the same and even quieter!
I think the 75/ZT forum is busy because there are thousands of these cars still on the road and they are cheap as chips to buy now and a lot of car for the money, so are becoming even more popular.
This forum seems to be mainly MG activity at the moment although I'm hoping to start work on the coupe again in a few weeks so should be some more project work popping up from me, plus a HOW TO guide, and also an update on my noobie attempt at flaring brake lines. Exciting stuff
In seriousness I don't come on here as often anymore due to the constant bickering and arguing that seems to happen on a weekly basis. Never happened years ago but now it seems if someone isn't slating someone else they ain't happy, so I generally don't visit as often.
Shame though, not that long ago this place was busy all day and there were some great characters here, quite a few of which don't come here anymore either.

I'm on faceache group here and other mg sites(bar 1) I could never get rid of my zed as I've put to much money into it. Plus i wouldn't get much actual advice from the faceache group compared to here. This is a valuable commodity. People with actual knowledge are far between.
