I had one as a middle box on my first car - Fiesta Mk1...nothing good like a Supersport or XR2, but a 1.1L!!! Back box was a Peco BB4.

You'd never think a 1.1 could be so loud, even compared to the time the exhaust snapped at the down pipe!

Had Supersport rear spoiler, XR2 pepperpots, S1 RST recaros and white dials, 3-point harness, loads ofspeakers and amps, tinted lights, colour coded grille, big red started button etc. Loved it!

had the 3" de-catted system that came on my car, needless to say the old bill could hear me coming from miles away..... but honestly i miss that growl on boost and the look the jap car owners used to give it, spesh with the front mount people really thought it was running something alot crazier than it was

My brother always seems to have conrtinas and granadas and stuff. He had a pinto cortina with one on. Took it out and ran it on a cosworth granada too.

Sold the lot, he then bought a V8 range rover cortina and sold it on ebay to buy a v6 zephyr. the bonnet has the same dimensions as a double bed, its awesome.

Most fun ive had for a while was his essex cortina. RWD + v6 was awesome.

A long time ago, in a far distant galaxy..... my old Granada Ghia Coupe had a pair of Cherry Bombs which were fairly noisy on full chat but perfect at tickover.
More recently I tried a pair on my XJC but they were just too loud for everywhere :roflmao: .
They only stayed on the car for two days as the sonic vibration set off shop window alarms in the High St at 30-35mph and at 70mph+ on the motorway, people kept looking round as I came up behind them then either pulling over or trying to race me.
I drove it to the Festival of Speed at Goodwood and spent every driving moment avoiding the Police :(
