Is there a recommended minimum number of turns you should put on wheel nuts before you should be getting longer length studs??

transition fit and not a sloppy clearance fit!
I havnt a f_c71ng clue what that means Rob!

no probs Andy, I have long studs which dont fit perfectly and floating bells so it maybe down to that. And the diameter thing is a bit of a Doh! but its not important Vs how badly i needed these spacers!

IMO a bare minimum of 5 turns, I'd be happier with 6+. There is probably some science that could be applied to tell you for sure, but I don't know it!

No worries Jase, as long as you're happy with them :)

I'd like a set of these for my coupe, in case my chosen wheels don't clear the Brembo406 brake kit. If i don't get around to fitting any of it, then i'll throw it all in if i sell up instead.
