The missus used to hate the car until she had a decent blat and dragged some poor HSV Commodore driver off at the lights one day. She now loves it.

It's the usual moan, moan, moan when I am cleaning it or working on it.
When where out in it she thinks she is Madame Muck.

The missus "You spend more time with that car than you do with me"
Me "what's wrong with that?"

At least cars don't moan and when they go wrong they usually give you some warning.
Plus cars don't get jealous! but they do like your wallet the same as a woman.

If you want to drive their car for any reason it's "No! what's wrong with your car?"
Ok so they want to drive our cars but they don't want us to drive theirs!

Don't start! The amount of times I've had a go at the missus for allowing the kids the eat sweets in the car is well, fecking logger loads!

Even tonight I was out the front digging half melted 'Drumsticks' out the door cards - grrrrrr!!!

P1sses me off even more than re-doing the manifold gasket!

hehehe, Drumsticks.. They are made from the latest in scientific high polymer resins
designed to glue themselves deep within the very molecular fabric of any carpet they come into
contact with.

Once they are in carpet or door panels, they are there to be a selling feature when that day comes.

How very true! I try my best but she just doesn't give a t0ss!!

I usually go through my nasp every week with a black sack and everything I deem as rubbish goes straight in the wheely bin - whether it be the kids' lunch boxes, school uniforms, her course work or whatever.

I base it on - if it was important she would pick it up.

I did a complete banzai to a bird i was seeing a few months back on some single track lanes opening out onto faster wider roads. When i hit a long straight peice of road i looked across at her to see what stage of terror she was in - she was busy looking out the side window at the sheep in the fields, then looked at me, smiled and went back to admiring the scenery.....

From the sweat dripping off my palms and the amount of concentration i had on what i was doing im pretty sure i wasnt under performing???

Talk about a hit on the ego! and the sudden desire for a lot more power!

The other half prefers Fords unfortunately.

So all I get is "Bloody Rovers, all they do is Rattle and Rust"

Silly cow still thinks her 1.4 Fiesta is quicker than the 400...

She'll learn :D
