After the success of the previous fix it day, here we go again!

Sunday 4th November 2012 from 08:00 till we're done.

Here is the last event and a few of the pictures of people getting their hands dirty (even zrchris "we have pictures").

The next event we are hoping to have sponsored by my local Autofactors so we will have some freebies to give away.

The event its self is free of charge event as we will only be using my car, my engine and my spares.

So for those who haven't already been.

We can even provide any parts you require (pending availability) at trade cost (an invoice will be shown regarding the prices) but please let me know prior to the event so we can make sure its there on the day. Cut off for parts is 12:00 on Saturday 20th October.

Street Parking is limited but we have access to two large car parks close to the event, we ask if you are not having work done to utilise these car parks.

Other than that all are welcome, we have most tools you could ever require and if i haven't got it, it will be there ready for the next event.

Why do i do it?
Well i make enough money out of my job and have a fond affection for the rover brand so its my way of giving a little back to make sure these cars stay on the road. One day the R8 will be as sort after as the Austin 7's and just a rare and my little collection of the rarest ones i can find will hopefully still be running.

Only one rule applies, you break it you bought it

it got delayed due to lack of parts but it is still defo on but when, i've not really put any effort into it with respect to the dismal turnout for the 2nd fix it day even though it was a warm sunny day.

Fair play mate, always next year, got loads of suspention work needing to be done on the 25 and the MGF needs finishing off and undersealing.

Its basically supply and demand, not gonna put any effort into organising anything if no ones gonna turn up.

If no one turns up after me spending the first hour of the morning moving my cars out of the way, when i could just leave them there and work onmy own cars.

The short answer is i'm in there every Sunday between 09:00-13:00 at a minimum but some help has to be done to one of my cars as well due to the close proximity of POL and the massive amount of work required to get any of my cars there, i can't afford to miss a week of the rebuild helping everyone else.

Yes it is a little selfish but i opened these events up for people and they didn't bother turning up, so i'm not going to be putting any effort towards promotion.

I'll be there, if you need help, the doors open just bring a mug thanks to Rover 25x we have brew tackle
