Tis really quite simple.

Bought a few things, never had a dud.

GBEs on two cars now. IMO the most cost effective mod you can make to a turbo car.

Never short on advice, even when it means you lose a potential sale :o

Drove many miles at short notice to help me out as well. Even when it was to solve one of the myriad of fcuk-ups caused by a certain other "tuner"

Honoured to call you a friend as well.

Top bloke all round

As above, bought 2 GBE's, one for mine, newer one for the girlfriends T4 which when fitted along with a cone filter took about half a second off her 1/4 time, not bad for £40 lol

Will be getting an EVO GBE shortly for the car as well.

Everything else echo'es what ahs been said already in the thread.

the deals me and grant have done are too many to count.

we've had one off parts we got at same time etc, grants paid up front for bits and i've repaid him later.

we've bought cars for stripping together (never again GB)

the wheeler dealings we've had are numerous.

might also be that i consider him one of my best mates, especially as we met through the rover forums ;)

still looks like Uri Geller though :)

the man does indeed bend spoons like no-other.

I've purchased a GBE BCV and some silicone hose from him in the past, and was very impressed at the quality of the service and the speed at which the goods arrived. Pretty much next day!

although, if I do recall correctly, he DOES have a problem with putting stamps on stright though... :D

serioulsy though, I wouldn't think twice about doing business with Uri in the future.

Didn't put what I had bought from him earlier.
So far I have had from Grant: A GBE Mk2A boost controller. A Mocal oil catch tank. Oil filler cap as well as some anodised bolts. I nearly forgot about the T28 I bought from him as well.

Everything arrived very quickly and well packaged.

He also came and did my head gasket too. He was very efficient and got the job done, not only quickly but it was right. Which when we did it, we found that a supposedly "good" garage, didn't do it right and charged me about £300 more.

I have also made him loads of stuff which he took in payment for the head gasket change. He also banked some money for me, when I was making him things, so that I could put it towards a dump valve.

Top genuine bloke, who always offers sound advice. ANd his prices are very good.

Met Grant for the first time on Friday when I went to get my new turbo fitted.

Not much to say apart from Great Job and Great Price! Even sorted out a couple of problems for me that he found when putting on the turbo.

Thanks to Liz for all the cups of tea aswell. Especially liked it when she said she liked my 220 better than 600's :D

So far I have had from Grant: A GBE Evo boost controller and Mocal boost gauge. A GBE cold air box, and just bought a Davies Craig electric booster pump.

Everything has arrived within one week and has been well packaged. He has always been helpful and have never had any problems.

Top notch - after finding an MFU for him, he was straight onto MSN within half an hour, and within the hour he'd paypal'd some money to me.

No nonsense, straight talking and does exactly what he says.

I agree with every one, a really top guy. Answered my queries after purchasing the GBE from ebay and I botched the install. Even though instructions are good enough for a blind person. Told me where I went wrong and as I stupidly messed the spring in the GBE and thought I'll have to buy another unit, he was willing to just sell me the spring. What a guy, could have made extra in selling another unit, instead, willing to sell what I messed up.

Either way GBE is now working thanks for some extra instructions even a dead man would scream as he would have lost his patience with me on instructions.

Thank you Grant a true gem and a credit to R/tech and ebay.
