First i heard of it was today when someone posted the link on Triple-M. Looks like the work of arsonists, a bit of a shame, the car is unlikely to be rebuilt because you cannot get new bodyshells yet, and your also struggling to find anyone brave enough to rescue it.

Damn. That is not good. I know both the car and its original owner extremely well.

I was just watching Top Gear and very briefly Clarkson described a Rover Coupe along with a Jag as being great cars.
A tad surprised by that though this was an opposed to Nissan Praire and Vauxhall Viva the interviewee had also owned in the past

I think he was referring to the old 3.5 litre Coupe, not the tomcat or the 800 come to think of it.
Shame how he's forgotten how much he liked the ZT V8.
50-70 in 5th = 5 seconds.
70-90 in 5th = 5 seconds.
90-110 in 5th = 5 seconds.
(or something like that anyway)

yes, that's possible.
but remember - clarkson did love the 200 coupe when he first reviewed it. and i never saw him write a bad review about it since.

I think he said 'cool' car, not 'great' car iirc
don't know which coupe he meant though!
