CONTENDERS RRRRRRRRREADY....

Post by MickUK »

Get your oversized cotton buds ready as Saturday night TV will never be the same. Yes you've guessed it.....

Gladiators is coming back! Unfortunately we will not witness the likes of "The Wolf", the rather sexy "Jet" & I think there was some bint called "Lampshade" or summit.

ITV must be bloody desperate!!

I actually used to work out in the same gym in Southall as Jefferson King (Shadow) when he was still training for body building.

Quite a nice chap; easy to talk to and a decent sense of humour.

His occasional training partner was Bertil Fox, multi-titled world beater in body building, now serving a life sentence for murder!! :o

I remeber the one where you had to hang from rings on the ceiling and evade the gladiator for as long as possible. It'd also end with the bird wrapping here thighs around the contestant's face :D

BOGIES!!!!!!!!!!!

BOGIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked the bit where they made out that one of the kids in the studio had laughed so much that they had cacked themselves and were sent to the bog to hear it tell a joke.

One of the 'Bogies!' rounds was set in a Public Library and my son actually 'followed through' laughing as the Librarian tried to find out who was making all the noise. As he was sorting himself out in the bog, my daughter and I whispered stoooopid jokes under the bog door at him to the point that we were all rolling about, helpless with laughter. My Missus came in and declared the whole family 'mad as a Russian van', which only made matters worse.
Her mashed potato is still referred to, even now, as 'creamy muck-muck'!

D!ck and Dom - truly top TV!

Not sure about assault but I heard stories about his going to America for a while and turning to drugs, unsubstantiated stories, of course.

Not sure what he's up to now. Hope that things turned out OK for him; not a bad lad, actually!!
