As many as makes no difference, in fact at a steady speed it will be more efficient on the motorway rather than mucking about on the A420s bloody roundabouts....

I'm ringing Remote Key at about half two tomorrow, how quickly did they sort you out when you used them, Rich?
Also, I'm gonna remain hopeful that this errant wire was all that was wrong with the Alternator.
But, if it's not, Ozz is selling one for £40, so there's another possibility.

Will have to discuss this tomorrow, Dan, assuming you're still coming along?

And thankfully it was a duff wire on Vards vitesse...so it i provided a huge bmw battery (we had to er.. mod the battery tray a bit) and bodged the wire up and she fired up ok... apart from sounding like a bag of nails due to the manifold blow...so its still a possability that the 800 will be there :D

Anybody organised a convoy to this? Or know a rough route that they will be going along?

Anyone from the mids meeting up anywhere? Or is everyone from round here just going straight there?

How many services are there in this strip of M'way?

If there's one or more, we could say anyone who's coming up and in via the M4, wait at the service station(s) between 16 and 13, and we could stop at each service station to collect more members to the convoy?

Just a suggestion.

From mine Ill be going on the M42 and M40. Routeplanner is saying that the museum is half an hour away from mine (quite clearly 15mins in a Rover Turbo lol :drive: ). Otherwise Ill have to go past the place to meet up with you guys coming from your way, which is pointless. So unless anyone from the mids wants to meet up in a convoy, Ill just meet you guys at the museum!

Fair enough, that would be a bit pointless.
There's a fair few members in Brum itself, it strikes me.
So it'd be a short convoy, at any rate.
It would be good for a string of Rovers to all turn up and pull up one after the other while the SD1 club watched, slightly befuddled though.

I'm with Rob on this one. Id have to go round in a big circle to meet up at a convoy to be honest. Easier for me to go straight there too :|

Convoy from the services on the M42 anyone then? Junction 2 or 3 I think it is, where everyone met for the Pride of Longbridge earlier this year.

I could do that yeah. Junction 2, Hopwood services is the one where everyone met for Pride Of Longbridge. They also do a mean breakfast bap in the service station! That alone is worth meeting there lol.
