420GSI spares or repair

Post by george_chick »

Won't part it out, either it goes as a whole lump by the end of the month or it gets squished.
I'm going to buy a Honda Legend Coupe and attempt not to break various funcions for a change :)

R reg 4 door 420 GSI manual 100 ish K on the clock, usual T16 oil leak.
Basically rear ended another car and pushed aircon condenser into rad and guffed it.
Rad was on the way out anyway.
Cracked bumper, chrome grill, bent bonnet (which now has the evil eye look) and cracked drivers side headlamp/indicator.
The air con might even be recoverable, but I suspect the air con rad is guffed, try testing it tomorrow as I haven't seen any signs of aircon oil on the floor.

Grey leather, 4x electric windows, mirrors, sunroof, Rover stereo/6 cd changer\Alloys (one flat in the boot, running on the spare).
Good condition generally apart from bubbly rear arches, dog hairs and smell of smoking.
I'll need a rear box (going at the joint weld, toshed up with fire putty) about 3 months on the middle box
from Kwik$hit.
Alternator recently reconned, new regulator and rectifier.
About 10 months MOT (I'll have to check, it's in the car).
Tax up the end of this month.

Won't part it out, either it goes whole by the end of the month or it gets weighed in for scrap.
Bring a new rad, breaker bar to bend the shut panel out a little, fit rad and drive off, should be in and out
in an hour.

How it used to look http://www.flickr.com/photos/39068194@N07/, to give you an idea, get some more out of my phone later.

No longer for Sale.

Just got the Tin tack, so I'll have to fix and keep it for a while.
Sick of the bleeding construction game, sick of getting the Tin tack as you're getting changed to go home.
