I should still be good for this, but there's a slight smidgin of a possibility that I may have 6 points within a week or two, so I may be out of the Longbridge meet...

It's possible I got caught at 50 or just under just coming into the 30 in Avebury this afternoon, I looked up and noticed a camera van, and looked down to see the needle dropping just below 50 as I continued to brake gently. I don't know if I'm caught, and if I am, I don't know what speed I'd have been got at. It's just the brown-trousers week of waiting for a brown envelope to drop through the door now.
If I was got above 50, logic dictates that it may be a 6 point penalty, and with a measley two months still to go till I hit my two year mark, I can just see that happening, with my luck. Oh, and also I'd lose the first year's no claims I've been building up, which would tripe n onions me off, as it'd be the second year I'd not got it because of a silly little error.

Aye, fingers crossed, knocking on wood, tossing a pinch of salt, seeing a penny and picking it up, not walking under ladders, not opening an umbrella indoors, trying to avoide the two black cats at work...

Ok - put the wheels back on, tried bedding in the brakes (tho they dont seem too gud!) and bed in hadbrake (which seems alot better). Car runs well now. Put £10 of petrol in her last nite so its just the case of getting a cat on her. Vard - whats the likelyhood of getting this cat drilled out thurs nite? How early can u get round? Better bring that cork stuff round too. Missus isnt in so got all aftanoon and evening.
The cat is the only thing I need to get done.
I have found one for £35 but its in birmingham and to be honest need to save the money I got.
I got the mot booked locally for 12pm friday and I got friday off work too. Unless they charge cheap to chk the gearbox oil r get them to leave it to save money (I think it mite be clutch bearing making the noise after driving her last nite).
Nearly there....Just got to sort out the prob with my bro immobiliser!!! (See electronic thread!)

I could be there for four if you like. I'll only be in Burbage, airsofting, so I can pretty much just peel off as and when I need.

Cool - be good to meet a few faces.

Vard - I will be back for four then. The current plan is to try and drill the cat out and fit it by thurs night (Hopefully will get away with drilling one bolt out and enlarging another to fit a good bolt.). If we have problems then I will get up early and pick up the 2nd hand cat from birmingham fri morning so im back in time to take car for mot at 12pm that day (Dont really want to as need to save cash for petrol sunday!!!). The only thing Im worried about is the brakes dont seem too good. I will explain to them they are new and hopefully they mite be a bit lenient!!!

Bloody typical! Went to take the coupe down to the mot centre early and found one of my new tyres was flat. Tried to pump it up but valve knackered. Rushed down to the local tyre place and they fitted a new one for £5. Got the coupe to the mot centre early hoping they can chk it early but they said they are full so have to wait till 12pm! Told them id done everything on the failed list but they said theyd have to do a full test again. Fingers cross.....
