Car is folded in two and the drivers door took the full hit, no wonder there in no rush to get him out.

I could dig you out a link with some images that are a *lot* more hard hitting than that, but not suitable for posting on rovertech I feel due to the gory nature.< KEVIN > wrote:wow thats scares me
those images would make a hard hitting advert of racing on public roads

Suffice it to say I would have a lot more time for adverts on the TV that shoes some of these sort of images rather than the stupid ones with little girls in black and white which mean nothing at all to anybody.

Think hes got blue jeans and a green jumper on , and tis one person. Looks like it to me anyway.gaz200 wrote:Is it just me or where there 2 people killed driver and passenger? in the 4th,5th,6th and 7th picture can anyone else see the upper torso and face of someone with a blue jumper then in the 2nd from last picture a body with a green jumper?

I'd like to know the actual speed he hit that...to be fair if you slide sideways into something at any speed there's not much stopping you from getting hurt apart from a thin layer of tin and a window winder.
ouch!
Looks from that like it must have been a good speed to totally bend the chasis in the middle though.
Wonder what he'd avoided or what broke to do that... there's no way just blagging it down that straight you'd lose control, specially considering he seemed pretty good going in a straight line from the first few pics.
To me it says make sure you've got the best brakes, pads and tyres money can buy.

That colour matches the one in this pic , which is clearly his jeans.gaz200 wrote:

LOL yeah silly me .. he must have removed those cos they'd stop anything up to a 100mph+ impact. an extra smaller piece of tin and a balloon .. i'd put my life on them every timeCableguy wrote:And side impact bars, and airbagsshen wrote:I'd like to know the actual speed he hit that...to be fair if you slide sideways into something at any speed there's not much stopping you from getting hurt apart from a thin layer of tin and a window winder.

Agreed, don't think his choice of tyre or brake pad had much to do with that incident, unless he had slicks, awful way to go.Sheaf wrote:To me it says dont street race/drive like a loon.shen wrote:To me it says make sure you've got the best brakes, pads and tyres money can buy.

I believe he had a roll cage as well, which in this case might have actually worsened the effects.
I would say that would be around 120+mph crash a pole is not a good thing to hit in any case as it has a small surface area and is very strong - but at sub 100 speeds you wouldn't expect their to be that much damage, although the accident would have probably still have been fatal.

indeed was wondering about a good roll cage in there... but as said.. 80mph+ stopping dead even if there was minimal damage to the car your body would never be able to take the internal damage and whiplash.
As for Sheaf...as if anybody who frequesnts this forum would ever drive like a tit. I always stick strictly to speed limits and i'm sure everyone else does at all times too
you don't know he did drive like a tit...he could have been the greatest driver on earth but if tramming it and something major on the car failed there's not much he could do.

This is the driver, from the previous pics you can see the car is Right Hand Drive thus the body in the car is the driver and the passengers seat is visible on the left side nearest the camera.gaz200 wrote:Is it just me or where there 2 people killed driver and passenger? in the 4th,5th,6th and 7th picture can anyone else see the upper torso and face of someone with a blue jumper then in the 2nd from last picture a body with a green jumper?

Poor sod shows the reality of driving fast and brings it home .
And i'd never drive a car with 666 on the number plate.

I can see a face but so can I see the man in the moon. TBH, I can see what looks like a hand but I think the face is an optical illusion.
